This price is nuts. $4/100 was already nuts for one of the better bagged teas, and it hasn't been that price long. Wish I hadn't already stocked up.

Hard pass based on the quality of bags... including a few reviews s below:

Tea tastes great, nice full flavor.... but the bags keep on breaking open. I have to keep using my tea strainer to strain the leaves out of my cuppa... bit of a pain. Maybe I will try a different brand next time.

Do to the abundance of positive reviews I thought, what the heck, I'll try switching my daily brew to Yorkshire (replacing PG tips) and I am left feeling confused as to how this tea has such achieved such a high rating on Amazon. It's far from robust and tastes of this soggy paper. I would expect to find this tea next to a jar of powdered creamer in the front office of a cheap but adequate motel. As to say, it would work in a pinch, with no options, though I might consider motel coffee over this.

No one should be brewing tea in tea bags. Cut open the bag and brew it in a stainless steel strainer.

I just bought the 8.8oz loose leaf version for $4 on Amazon to try this out (this is 7.76oz). Better quality than they put in tea bags...

Try brewing boiling hot and only steeping for 3 minutes.

Ah yes, Green Child Magazine. The authoritative source on how to drink tea.

I mean, if you spent any time reading the article you would have seen the actual link to the scientific study on this. That website did a good job explaining it too. Here's the study they linked to (you probably won't believe it nor read it either way): https://keck.usc.edu/news/longitu...packaging/

They are addressing the microplastics in tea bags. I stopped using tea bags myself because of this.
