So based on past General Mills rebates I've claimed, I'm guessing that it could take the full 8-10 weeks to receive the rebate.
You can try emailing [email protected] to check on the status of your rebate.

1) They emailed me an Amazon giftcard instead of a virtual Visa prepaid. I already have an Amazon Prime card that gives me 5% back on purchase so receiving this Amazon GC means I've lost 5% of the giftcard's value.
2) You have to email them to get the rebate payment. As another user mentioned, they'll respond back by saying "we've sent you the payment already". Since I didn't receive it, I asked for them to resend it. After a couple back and forths with them, they finally sent the rebate payment in the form of an Amazon GC.
For a reputable brand like Blue Buffalo to use this suspicious third party vendor to handle their promotional rebate is beyond me. Don't wait for your rebate guys, you have to email them for it.

It seems likely that people are only going to get their rebates if they proactively reach out.
