That's good to know. Also, Dell lets you (at least they used to) split payments over two cards, so if you have the Amex deal as well, pay the first $200 with your Amex and the rest with your Chase.
Why would you split the other 200 to amex?

If you leverage the frame generation the jump will be relatively large, but if not it is a jump, but not what I would call a large jump (like when I went from a 1080 to a 3080).
I'm still on a 1060 🤣 I'll wait one more gen. My kiddo is on a mobile 3060. He wants to build a PC so I think when they drop the 5060 I'll build.

Yeah, if you are playing at 1080p, have the 6GB iteration, and are happy with the game settings waiting is the right approach.

Amex deal is only $120 off $599, so can take advantage of Chase 5% or 10% cashback on the remaining $200.

I should have waited a couple months to build my PC. I got some decent deals but I probably could have saved another $150 - $200.

Had an issue with a PNY 2080 crashing certain games. They gave me a very hard time about exchanging for a new one 1 month after purchase under warranty and when they finally agreed to, they simply sent my exact card back (same serial number)weeks later with a "recertification" sticker and it had the same issue. Bought a founders addition 2080 and never had an issue. Their team is very small and unprofessional. Buy with caution

Yea for several generations I bought the "70" version and it was always about 300 bucks. I had the 770 970 and 1070. Now its alot more.

No because the frames generated by DLSS 3.0 FG are not CPU intreractable frames, meaning they don't lower your input lag like normal frames and thus are not the same.

Those extra frames are for all intents and purposes fake, your actual game will feel like your are playing at much lower FPS.

It depends…I'm not a fan either, but it works well for plenty/most people because of the upsides.
