Great deal. I also recommend the fiber glass handle.

The sledge with a fiberglass handle is even cheaper. FWIW I prefer a fiberglass handle.
Same. I also prefer an 8lb. for what I do. For the average DIY homeowner just driving stakes for a project, the 8lb is likely plenty and you'll probably be more accurate and able to swing faster with an 8 than a 10. I like fiberglass for the antivibration, but I get that one wrong blow and you could be done for without being able to rehandle. They also sell an "indestructible handle" for over $100. I'd like to try that one.

Cheap fiberglass 8lbs.

What kind of jobs can make one realize the quality difference between Estwing sledge hammer made in US vs India? Just curious.
That's kinda like asking which job requires a Japanese made Nepros ratchet over a Taiwanese made Harbor Freight Quinn ratchet. The Nepros is significantly better (fit and finish) quality than the Quinn, but you certainly don't *need* the Nepros ratchet.

Too bad the handle is wood. This would make a good sledge for knocking axles out of an axle housing on a class 8.

Would this work for paintless dent removal?
When I first read this, I thought it said "Painless Dental Removal"...

Why fiberglass over hickory?

Hickory is better, and usually more expensive!
