My Sam's membership expires next month. I can only use the same phone number and same credit card. What can I do to sign up for this promotion with those conditions in mind?

Not going to work. I even tried using a different number, different email, and different card and it didn't work. It let me sign up, then I got an email saying they were cancelling my membership just a little bit later. Seems like they've improved their system to prevent people from doing this ever year (which I have done a few years in a row until now).

Wait what? You said you used all different phone number, credit card, and email yet it still didn't work? By using ALL NEW credentials, you are effectively a new person signing up for the account! lol. Unless I'm misunderstanding something you wrote?

How long did it take to get a cancelation?

Most likely you have to input your address and perhaps since we don't have as many homes as we do credit cards and email addys, this initiates the sticking point. I know they have my address. Perhaps SDbucked didn't put in a friend's address instead. That wasn't covered in their statement.

Same. Tried 3 different phone numbers, 3 credit cards, my name versus my wife... always kicked back as being associated with an existing account. I'm guessing it's the mailing address, which I can't really do anything about. For one thing, the address has to jive with the billing address of the credit card.

Update: After exhausting every option I could think of to make this deal work, I tried the recent half off deal and had the same result with that. Finally, I found the Groupon deal for $25 and was able to get that to work. Fingers crossed that I don't get a cancelation notice.

Wait, what about their rule of not active member for at least six months is considered as new. It doesn't apply anymore?

I rarely use the register , I use scan and go. I don't ever bring my sams club card bc it's on my app on my phone My membership expires next month . Based what I'm reading here, you can't use the same home address , sams is somehow figuring out who's who with a new email and phone /cc number. I'm considering signing up new email /phone number and lye about my home address . I'm looking for a second opinion please . The thing that's confusing is can 2 people living in the same house hold have separate memberships ? Maybe same address apartment c …. . There must be a way to sign up as a new customer with a new email and phone number.

Yeah they have a new system. Wait until you move into a new apartment that had a membership before. (from other threads)

It should. According to the T&C, the offer is not valid for those who were Sam's Club members less than six (6) months prior to joining.

Working for me so far, although it's only been an hour. New phone, email, and card. If they don't cancel me, it may be because my previous membership expired in December rather than using new info, so I don't know if this helps. Not sure when they consider you "new" (Edit: I see 6 months above), but it's been under three months since my expiration.

Ugh. That is NOT good. I just started flipping between the wife and I and only got last year via a deal. The membership expired end of Feb and I was going to try to use her name again to sign up. Frown

Worked for me, this is my 3rd year with a new email address. Used a different physical address though.
