I havent had a sams membership in like 2 decades. Is it worth it to get at this price? Ive already got a costco membership so wondering if it's any different
Same here.
This is a good deal. I would say if there's a Sam's club within 10 minutes of where you live then it's worth it.
Not for me as the closest Sam's club is like 30 minutes away so I won't bother besides I don't mind the crowd at Costco I usually go there at off peak hours.
Same. Tried 3 different phone numbers, 3 credit cards, my name versus my wife... always kicked back as being associated with an existing account. I'm guessing it's the mailing address, which I can't really do anything about. For one thing, the address has to jive with the billing address of the credit card.
Just add unit #4 to your address or 101 and see how that comes out?
I was able to get the deal. My wife's account expired last month. I have just signed up using my email, CC, but with the same address. It works so far. I received an email welcoming me from Sam's club. In fact I have created an account using my email before, but it expired more than a year.

Were you the complimentary card holder under her account?
So. I have an interesting tale. I had the membership and this time, we did not have any complimentary card holders. Signed up as my wife. Different CC, different phone number. Just the mailing address is the same.
The system identified that and asked to "Renew the expired membership" or open a new one. I opted to click on Open New one and it did go through.
Not sure how long before they cancel it. Anyone who got the cancellation, can you post if you had the same exprience and then got the cancellation email?

Amex has an offer saying use $110 on New Plus Membership, get $45 back... If you spend approx $2000 on eligible items in a year then this would be worth it. plus free shipping on most items and free pickups
Used an email associated with an account that expired over a year ago and it asked me if I wanted to renew or open a new account. I chose new account and I got the welcome email. Been all day with no cancellation. Same street address on both accounts. I'm a current member under a different email address but that account will expire in a few days. Another year for $20 is a decent deal for sure and even better if I get the $5 credit on first purchase.

Did you have a membership with us before?
[Join] [Renew]
I chose "Join" and it worked.
I was a member >6 months ago. I'm guessing if I said "renew" it would've worked and just reactivated my previous account.

You work security for Sam's Club? That's the same thread where you posted it was "stolen" from T-Mobile. Go back to patroling the parking lot.
