i have the Vivobook from the $380 deal, and the cooling is terrible (same design)

i currently have it on a cooling pad AND on (4) rubber pads to keep it elevated

i would be very concerned with this design and the Ryzen 9 7940HS........very very concerned

Uhhhh.... can this thing even cool a 35W Ryzen 9?

I think this is a strange configuration, had they spent less on the CPU and a little more on the rest (screen, build quality, etc), it would be a much better overall laptop for the same price. I'm not saying it's bad, just... unbalanced

Super great processor, decent everything else. For those looking for CPU speed alone, I guess this is your lucky day.

Inspiron has issues too. Is there a a laptop out there that is relatively slim AND has good cooling? I heard even the XPS line has issues with the fan running full blast constantly.

Why can't we get 100 more nits and 100% sRBG for $100 more. Hell make it a 15.4" or smaller. Is that too much to ask? Only the Costco deal is close to this, but I don't want OLED and it's Ryzen 7. Laptop seems very unbalanced for sure. Give me this in a good 14.5" screen and I would jump on it.

Microsoft Surface laptops have never had cooling issues for me.

this is a beast for office workers who hook 2 additional screen at home and occasionally travel.

From the previous FP deal, there's a comment that there's 1 SODIMM Slot available filled in with a 8GB and 1-8GB soldered on already (non-removable), both are DDR5

MacBook Air (doesn't matter which M chip) doesn't even have fans inside. That's how well it cools. I use both Mac and PC extensively. I am no fan (eh? Eh?) of anyone. 😛
