You don't have to be samsung employee. It's called EPP which is available to many employers. You can sign up for AAA and get same discount.

Not a good tv. Entry level, 60hz refresh rate. I believe this one is the same model or very similar. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews...q60cd-qled

The Samsung QE1C is a Samsung store online exclusive that performs the same, but it's only available in 70-inch and 85-inch sizes.

I think our first flat screen was a 52" 1080p Sharp in the mid-90s and I bought it on discount at a Sears center that normally distributing power tools and such (like an annex). It was $1500.
I had one of those bulky floor model big screens back then. It was top of the line when we got it early 90s. I was a kid and that TV is responsible for me being a cinephile now. I have loved movies and nothing makes a movie greater than a nice TV.

His actual post states that it's not a good TV. He then provides his justification of it being entry level and 60 htz.

If you think that all entry level and 60hz TVs are not good then you too are clueless about TVs.
Yes, and look at his upvotes compared to your troll posts. It's not a good TV. Is it complete crap? No, but it isn't good. If you don't happen to care about specific specs then it might be fine for you, but some people do as evidenced by his upvotes. He also provided a link to a review of their comparable model sold everywhere, which was very helpful, showing it is in fact not a good TV. You are the one that is clueless when it comes to TVs. Worse than clueless. Useless.

I just upgraded this month. 2012 LG Plasmas 65 inch1080p tv that started turning itself off randomly. Got a good deal on a new 120hz lg 4k 75 inch, but I was using an old hdmi cable so I was stuck in 60hz. Watching netflix it looked amazing until there was any fast motion and then it would blur anything moving fast. It was very noticeable and very distracting. Turning on motion blur fixed this, but added artifacts around anything moving. Wife also noticed these issues and she could care less. We have some cheap rca 55 inch 4k tv's and don't notice these issues on them at all. We ended up switching to 1080p at 120hz til we got the new hdmi cable. Looks amazing now, but first time I have ever cared about the refresh rate on a tv.
Lollll. Do you have some special netflix that broadcasts in 120hz? You should look up which contents actually benefit from 120hz before being impressed.

60 htz is only good for non action media. So no sports either.
None of your sports broadcast in 120hz. They are most likely 24hz.

Netflix does have a lot of 24p content. 120/24=5 (120 is evenly divisible by 24). 60/24=2.5 (aka not evenly divisible). That means a TV with 120hz can generally display 24p content more smoothly, aka natively with no judder. A 60hz TV has to do the 3:2 pulldown, with most TV's only being mildly successful. So yes 120hz does help with Netflix. But some people aren't bothered by judder, while others are highly sensitive to it. So take that as you will, but at face value, it isn't worthless to many.

Rtings says this TV can remove 24p judder from true 24p sources (Like Blu-ray players) and native apps (apps built into the TV) but can't from 60p external players, so if you ever decide to use a 60p Roku or fire stick, cable box etc. you will have to deal with the judder.

Tell me you know nothing about TVs without telling me....a refresh rate of 60hz doesn't signify that a TV is no good.
Exactly, I can guarantee my 10 year old Panasonic plasma VT50 at 60hz refresh rate will blow out all of these tv's in picture quality with the exception of high end OLEDs. Even at 1080p side by side with my 4k Sony LED, I'd take the plasma for the richness of color and blacks.

I used to think like you but I was wrong. The new streaming using webm format to deliver 120hz streaming as long as your internet speed is fast enough.

So maybe just me. But for less than $600 delivered for a 70 inch are critics on this string being a bit rough/expecting too much, is their really anything that much better at this price point and size? Serious question
