This or Home Depot Husky heavy duty (Matt black)? I've heard that workbenches go on sale Father's Day.
Call me crazy but I kinda want one as a standing desk
And never have the option to sit?

If it's delivered return shipping is free to return. Never seen the adjustable top version but these look great in store.

I wish this existed when I bought mine a few years ago. Mine is identical minus the adjustable height top, and the biggest issue is there isn't any lip to the butcherblock so you can't easily attach a vice or clamps to it. Granted I think I got mine on sale for $700 at the time, but I still would've paid more for this had it been an option.

Not sure if they addressed this issue either, but the center doors are really flimsy and loud when you open them. I ended up bracing the panels with wood which solved the issue, but still felt like a weird oversight on a unit that otherwise felt well made.

72 US General is on sale right now for $1349. I went with multiple 42s though since even on sale their 72 is quite the markup.

Husky Heavy Duty, all day every day. The 18 drawer Husky is 5" deeper (24 v 19) and weighs 200 pounds more (567 v 370). It also can be had on sale if you wait.

Some pretty abysmal reviews regarding QA. I was intrigued until I started picturing having to return it if it arrived damaged.
