I went with the extra large dog 6 month supply, best bang for buck. I'll be using a measuring syringe and using this for our small dogs.

For what it's worth, my dog once had an issue with this flea/tick prevention resulting in a pretty scary seizure. It was applied correctly as we had used it for a years on two different dogs. I've read about other occurrences like this as well. It seems to work fine, but only took one incident to say nope no more. Switched to collars 10 years ago and never looked back.

Exact same thing happened to us. Had been using this for years, then last year, approx 48 hours after applying, I woke up to the most heartbreaking sight. Fortunately, the little guy made a full recovery but I swore never again after that. I've been using natural sprays and shampoos ever since. I'm not here to advocate for it or against it, just sharing my experience.

I do similar, and use a half dose of the XL for my 35lb dog.

Sam's Club has a deal until April 7 for an 8-month supply for $27 (PetAction Plus) or $32 (PetArmor Plus). Offers different weight ranges, too, for same price. Good if you need longer coverage. You can order online or pick it up in the club.

What kind of dog do you have if you don't mind asking? We got a new mini dachsund and need to get him on something. What flea collars did you use?
