I just bought in store, eventhough the store price shows $750, the register automatically rings up at $650. So no need to ask for price match.

Absolutely amazing machine: I used to have issues with 50+ tabs in Firefox but then switched to Edge and the performance is back to perfect.
Anything from Photoshop to Excel to Davinci resolve works perfectly fine on this machine, but you need to be careful with browser tabs or use some decent browser that's good at managing memory.
Light, portable (probably the best form factor out of all recent Macs) and pretty capable overall

If you bought it through Costco you're still within their 90-day return policy. Ask if they can adjust the price or return it and buy the new one at the sale price.
If you bought it somewhere else you're SOL. Don't think many credit cards have purchase protection anymore.

2. 8GB/256GB is fine for its intended user -- basic business type apps, web browsing, etc. Apple sells "Pro" models with higher RAM and graphics abilities if that is what you need. The MBA has never been a multi-media type laptop. There are also 16GB MBA M1 models floating around if one wants the MBA footprint w/ more RAM.
3. But, back to this model. At $650, the build quality and usability of this M1 MBA is unmatched by any PC laptop at this price. This is a solid deal for anyone looking for a fast business laptop with no interest in editing video or photos, 3D CAD, or some esoteric scientific experiment.
