16GB LPDDR5 6400 MHz (Fully Soldered), so doubt you can replace it
Fully Soldered - what did you understand about configuration ? Is it 16 GB x 1 or 8GB x 2? I am assuming that it has 2 memory slots and so you can add additional memory if it's 16 x 1.
My dad needs a good deal on a long lasting laptop that he BARELY uses for actual travel - almost entirely at home in home office or sitting outside while working.
Question: why would I not lean towards a laptop like this instead of, say, this deal:
While he won't be gaming, he power uses a lot of apps and YouTube tabs while also will be unlikely to buy another laptop for a very long time.
My experience over the years is the specs of that Inspirion are going to feel underwhelming in two years while I think some of these sub $800 gaming laptops actually look better long term for him.
