Definitely an awesome price even if it is regular price at Costco. It's nice to have if you live in an apartment apartment for taking out trash or bringing in groceries just put a XL bin on it and bungee cord or strap it to the two wheeler.

Awesome, thanks for sharing. We're just about to move, and have a flight of stairs I'm not looking forward to carrying boxes down. Called the local Costco and plenty in stock. Good deal!

Would this be good to move a full size Cornhole set (both boards) a couple city blocks to a park?

I was eyeing this earlier in the week.

I wasn't sure about the little wheels for flat surfaces, compared to the larger wheels I've had on previous models.

The old guy at work would use the single wheel version of this because it was lightweight and easy for him to move. He would move 50 pound cases of paper with it, but after a while the wheel gave out so it would try to close when pulling it and was having issues pushing it. I'd try not to exceed 100 lbs of weight with this and be careful with even 50 lb. I think it's good, but just understand it's fragile due to the design.

The standard old carts with air tires are okay with higher weight, but they would still wear out quickly in our warehouse. Only the heavy duty warehouse dollies were ever any good. I actually bought one because it's great and I've never had any issues over more than a decade.

This looks like a great deal. The only question I have is the value of having a cart with a stairclimbing wheel feature versus a solid wheel if you're not going to be climbing a lot of stairs and using this mostly for carting packages up and down an apartment building (i.e. from the package room) and laundry hampers to the laundromat in the building.

One one hand, I could see the stair-wheels being more fragile. On the other hand, given that you're buying a value cart without great wheels, perhaps these would be usable for a longer time than the one with two big wheels if one of the big wheels gives out. Does anyone have any experiences with this? Curious if I should look for one with big wheels or if the stair wheel version provides other benefits or is more than adequate for loads of no more than 50 pounds. Thanks.

Previously I owned a Milwaukee hand truck purchased from Costco. It broke where plastic meets on the bottom of the hand truck because I dropped a bag of mulch on it when it was laid down.

Then I purchase the HF one with big wheel (see below) and you can get it with 25 to 30% off coupon. It looked simple enough and quite sturdy due to mostly metal frame.

Then I purchased this Magna from Costco as a back up due to the 6 wheels design.

I do feel that the 6 wheels design has very nice movement since it's always 4 wheels touching the ground. It somehow makes me feel it's lighter to transport and almost gives me the feeling of spinners wheels of luggage. But I am cautious about this one because of too many plastic around the frame and don't want to make the same mistake as the Milwaukee one.

The big wheels from HF are nice enough. And in terms of usage, both can handle more than 50lb for sure. I would say prob less than 100lb. 150lb is absolute max but gonna be hard to maneuver. With either HF or the Costco one, I think they are about equal. No need to think about too much on which one to get. You should still rely on the real hand truck to move heavy stuff. This is just for portability and moving of less heavy stuff. I use it mostly to haul my tools from car to my rental property for repairs.

Small wheels might be difficult to move on grass.
