That quote is pulled from one of the Amazon listings for this product. Again, I don't own this unit so I have no idea whether this disabling process works or not, I'm just going by the info provided on this Amazon listing.

The only consistently negative thing I read about this, is the fact that it goes into hibernation mode with charging loads under 5w after 15mins. It sounds like this is a setting that can be disabled with a combination button push, unfortunately a lot of people weren't aware, and returned these.

No. NEO300 will automatically enter energy saving mode after 15 minutes of AC and DC load less than 5W. It is currently not possible to disable this setting.
