These are about 26 dollars in-warehouses. I bought my dad one at Christmas. Not a new price, was never 100.

I prefer the models that have a removable battery - Milwaukee, Rigid, Ryobi, etc. but it might be worth a try for occasional use.

Correct. I have one and it's great light. Always sold for about $30 - $40 regularly priced. Never seen this being sold for $100

This is showing up as $29.97 for me today on the Costco link making it a great deal IMO. The CL40R has a MRSP or $99.99 on the Coast page [coastportland.com] making is a SD for sure. Strangely the Costco site says it is a CL400R, so maybe a special model for Costco, same specs as the CL40R.

i saw it for a lot less. reduced price because it wasn't selling well. i ended up ordering on amazon china brand 2000lm but a lot less bulky and more useful. this light is very heavy and bulky.

I am thinking of taking the halogen lamps off my dual stand and putting 2 of these on. The halogens serve as wonderful space heaters, if that's what you want.

Problem is there are a couple different ways to compare lamps - wattage (which is irrelevant when comparing LED to incandescent/halogen), and lumens. These advertise 3900 lumens but it seems the average 500W halogen work lamp is more like 8000.

bought a pair from warehouse so i could work outside after work. Clamped them to a 8' 2x4 and then propped against a wall - instant light!

They feel like good quality and do their job well.

These are well built but are big and heavy. The ball joint on mine doesn't 'stick' like the floor model, so when I clamp it to a vertical wood beam, the light won't sit upright; the ball joint slips and it slides downward. The joint isn't oiled so I don't know how to fix the one I have without returning it.

Pickup up 2 of them @ $10 each in Austin, TX store around 2 weeks ago.. Very solid and seems to last a while on a charge based on the few times I have tested them. 3 power/brightness levels when using.

At my local store I've only seen a section in thw clothing area, more often womens apparel but I've gotten a couple of of mens pants for ~$5 too. Once in a while there has been a single unit left in electronics but I haven't seen that in a long time.
