How much do you all spend on Uber???
Uber Eats can have some fantastic stackable deals depending on the restaurant. Example: Stacking 40% off with a BOGO offer and free item with minimum spend.
Even with the inflated prices and fees (also store-dependent) you can usually find a good deal— add in the discounted GCs and it makes it sweeter! I'm in for $300 worth.

Other reasons are gifting. Got high school kids who put them on their phone in case they need it for whatever mysterious reason like a safety issue. Vehicles break down and no one available to pick you up. Unfortunately no uber drivers anywhere outside a metro area for pickup. They will drive you anywhere you want, tho. Heard direct stories from drivers taking passengers 100+ miles and further.
Might be obvious to most, but it only works in your country of purchase. Bought a bunch thinking I could use the converted amount in euro in France and couldn't on vacation.

This is exactly how I use it.
For example, I had a promo code for something like 40-50% off and that got me dinner delivered for total of $25.63 Thats with a generous tip.
The same food would ahve cost me $33 at the restaurant.
With a gift card thats 10% off I'm really only spending $23 for $33 worth of food.
But Uber Eats is only good deal if you wait for a good promo discount. So I'll buy a GC when I see a 10-20% off deal for the GC. Then I'll sit on the GC until I see a good promo from Uber Eats.

What's considered a generous Uber Eats tip on a $100 order these days?
