These nylon belts are all cut to fit. They come pretty long like for.a 44" waist uncut. Then you adjust the buckle it has an inner clasp, once you figure out how long you want it then you just trim off the unused length. You can leave it but you will have an overlap on the right side of the buckle.

This is the only style belt I wear, the friction lock buckle holds very firm and is finely adjustable, where a notched belt is incremented by the belt holes. So easy to adjust from sitting, standing, finished a big meal, etc.

I'm hesitating on this because many reviews on Amazon highlight the buckle's proclivity for rust. I know it's cheap but...

Glad I read the reviews about the rust. A belt should not tarnish or rust this easily. It looks like it will likely rust just from the sweat of teenager hands. Even at this price this is trash.
