I wanted to like these so much. The noodles themselves and the broth is actually quite good. The problem was the sheer amount of seaweed. It's dominant (at least in the one I had).

It appears to be pretty clean for the average lay person. There seems to be very little or no use of MSG, toxic preservatives, or processed food crap. Almost too good to be true?

psa, plain rice dry noodles are as dirt cheap as wheat noodles at your local asian grocer,
so you all are buying $2 worth of dry starch then paying $8.55 for flavor packet chemistry.
just this weekend i paid $1.98 for 750g of rice noodles locally in high rent nyc.

I don't think msg is inherently "bad" per say but for many people including myself it causes a debilitating headache, nausea and short term vision loss. Not a boogeyman - although I understand msg sometimes gets labeled "toxic" for everyone when in reality it's just an "intolerance" for some.

These noodles appear to not have added msg- no "yeast extract" or similar synonyms for msg.
