Be aware that Minisforum doesn't support their products well. They put out fantastically spec'd systems in tiny sizes at great prices, but if you do anything like lose the custom mini SATA cables for your device they will not be able to sell you a replacement. They don't appear to have any substantial control nor understanding of their supply chain and parts inventory.

I've owned one since they came out, still my daily driver. Some comments that may help the community:
- 7735 is locked at 4800mt/s Ram. Don't overspend, it wont go faster with faster ram.
- Gaming on the 680m: It's about the same as an Xbox One. The 900p/30fps model that came out years ago, if you routinely game from the couch with a joy-pad, this thing is right up your alley. Example: Forza Horizon 5 at 1080p, High/Ultra settings locked at 30 no matter what the season *with temporal AA on*. If you turn on FSR you will gain roughly 9-10fps, so drop to low/medium with FSR and you're in the upper 50's and 60's sustained at same resolution. Keep in mind, this is on a device drawing 55 watts that is the size of a sandwich.
- USB 4.0 port works flawlessly with those inexpensive $99 USB4.0 eGPU mini-motherboard devices you can get online, so now you can go as fast as the 40gp/s connection will let you go.
- You need to install software to control your fan curve, the default bios fan ramp-up lets the system thermal throttle, may vary by system. Soon as I installed a fan profile app at startup that lets the fan spool up quicker, I haven't had it throttle on me since.
If you have RAM and an m.2 ssd hanging around, just drop $20 for a Windows 11 license and you're good. Would be a truly SLICK deal at $349 with those items included however, don't forget you need 32g of ram for gaming as your "gpu" portion is going to want to eat up a bunch of that for VRAM.
I didn't realize till after ordering the previous $400 deal they had that they shipped from china. It's going to be a few weeks it looks like. Kind of wish I canceled that order

Seems like it's on sale on Amazon for less and with faster delivery.

To be fair the post failed to mention that in the title.

"Note: Minisforum does not offer Windows OS license keys for the barebones version."
This UM773 Lite is also currently available from Amazon for $312 after $78 coupon:

But I think the UM690 Pro posted a couple of days ago may be a better value at $339:
