Get the Odin 2. Base price is $299.
It can play all system up to until switch almost perfectly.

Switch is mostly good experience and most game runs great. But once the emulator improve it will be better. At this point it is the switch emu software hardware have plenty of power

Can someone school me on these. Does it come with games or do I need to download and transfer an emulator and games to a microSD card first? If so any recommended sites? Any good tutorials?

I ordered a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro a couple days ago. I'm excited to try it out! I already have a ROG Ally and Miyoo Mini Plus, but I wanted something in between that plays PS2/GC games while still being pocketable. Unfortunately the Odin 2 is much too big to be pocketable. I have a feeling the Retroid Pocket 5 Pro, assuming that releases next year, will be the perfect combo of power and portability, but for now I should be fine with the Pocket 4 Pro.

I'd highly consider jumping up to an RGB30 as they've been dropping to around $50 and represent substantial upgrade in my opinion. I ordered this for my brother and tested and set it up for him and it's absolutely a bargain at this price and will be satisfying, but there's just a definite cheapness to the device and the experience using it that can be avoided unless you're truly strapped for budget.

The E6 uses the older RK3326 processor (same as R36S), so it can't really make use of the 2 joysticks, except on a very limited PS and PSP game selection it can emulate.

At $50 the heavily-discounted Trimui Smart Pro seems to be a better choice, given its better layout (why does the E6 put ABXY buttons under its right stick?), screen and performance.

I ordered this last time. It came relatively faster than I thought. I ended up ordering another one. It's an amazing value at this price... Considering you can even play half-life/old gta on this thing!!

I probably should have also ordered two of the RG35XX H when it was on sale for just $30 on tiktok....

Most users (including myself) are going to recommend you put together your own rom set. Buuuuut, the TrimUI Smart Pro has a pretty good out of the box rom set all ready to go (including an entire section of Pokémon roms and Pokémon rom hacks).
