I'm a Lowrance guy, but have heard great things about the Garmins as well.
Also, if you're getting one of these, they have mounts on sale also. Their lockdown one is very nice and stable.

For me it's a point of saving time.
With the new technology now, it cuts down on a lot of boating time and engine hours. Side scan alone marking some rock piles or brush 30-40 ft off to the side probably saves me 10-15 minutes of cruising around. Multiply that out a modest 6 times and you've gained an hour of fishing instead of searching.

Found this sunken boat cruising around one day.

I ordered this today (I was going to post this deal as well). Solid deal for the 106SV and 54 series transducer.

This combo is on clearance because it is being replaced by the 106sv packaged with the 56 series transducer, which will cost about $1k more (not worth it in my opinion, so I bought this bundle). Great deal, especially if you are able to add the veterans/first-reaponder discount of an additional 10% off!

Also, the livescope is also on sale for $999, which I ordered as well.

When paired with the 106sv, this livescope sonar will bring a whole host of benefits to boating/fishing. I also plan on making a rig for it, so I can use it while ice-fishing next year in the off-season.

Is this the Lv34 version or the first version?

I just updated the post with a link. It's the first version of the livescope, but if you look at the difference in specs, it is hard to justify going with v2 for the substantial increase in price.

The 93SV is on sale for $700 with the GT54 also.

Aside from smaller screen size is there any difference between all of these (126SV, 106SV, 93SV)?

Going on a kayak, the 9" screen should be plenty for me.

On a kayak, you wouldn't need a 10" screen - unless you have trouble seeing.

The 106sv and 126sv have faster processors (more snappy) but are otherwise very similar relating to features.

Thanks, yeah 9" screen would be good enough, I get by with my 5" screen with DI only now, looking to upgrade, just wanted to make sure there wasnt anything I'd be missing outside of larger screen size.

Think I'll go with the 93SV.

It's pretty standard pricing at this point for the gt54. The gt56 will hopefully be discounted in the coming year. If you know this garment product number is, you go from the 52, 54, 56... And same way when back used to be the 3436.

I've been in Garmin user since 2013 and been life scoping since like 2017-18. After Lawrence had a patent dispute with Garmin over the down imaging, Garmin used to call it down view inside view but the technology wasn't truly side imaging. Garmin stepped at the game with panoptics and now lowrance and hummingbird have to pay a license fee for that live technology. I love when people say oh I use this version of that version, it's really garments and they are just wiping the floor with people these days. With that said I've been using this stuff for so many years and I have a lot of people out with configurations and things like that, check out my website, jaimeastin.com. Free questions. Not promoting my YouTube or anything like that, just really just saying if you have any questions I have probably a little bit more knowledge than a lot of people just because I've been in the game for so long and I've been supporting a lot of different users around the world.

I run a 73sv on my 10.5' kayak, great size. 9" will be good, I just wanted a smaller one for my smaller kayak, smaller battery etc.

Do you have a link for the mount that you like? For some reason, I am having trouble finding one on the website...
