Looks to run a tad bit slower on the boost out of the box (2610MHz vs 2625MHz) but runs a bit quieter (30.9 dBA vs 31.2 dBA), cooler (66.2c vs 67c), draws a bit less power when gaming (282 vs 297) and could overclock a bit better (reached 2866 while the PNY hit 2845) per reviews on TechPowerUp for the PNY [techpowerup.com] and Zotac [techpowerup.com]

If you're willing to take a credit hit for a hard inquiry, you'd be better off applying for a credit card with a cash back offer and applying it to the purchase. If your credit is too poor to get a real card, maybe focus on that first (not judging, though).

thought many reviewers say GRE is underwhelming. did AMD 'fixed GRE' for the re-tests?
I dunno it seemed like good reviews to me:

Any recs for a card?
Anything with a 0% APR for the first 12-18 months (minimum) and a sizeable cashback after purchase ($300-$500 max in today's market). You can check out sites like NerdWallet and CreditSesame to find out specific card details, but you're always best applying directly to the bank you're a part of already because they'll try to squeeze you into the card even if you barely/don't qualify.

How legit is this Zip payment method, and if I took advantage of it, would I be able to pay it off entirely once I setup payment arrangements to do monthly installments?

Their site says it is a soft inquiry. Is that not accurate? Not being a smartass, just asking.
Soft credit inquiries, like the initial checks done by services such as Affirm when you apply for financing, do not affect your credit score and are not visible to other creditors. They are usually performed to give an initial approval or to offer a quote without doing a full credit check.

Often, if you proceed with the application after a preliminary approval based on a soft inquiry, many lenders then perform a hard credit inquiry to get a detailed view of your credit history before finalizing the loan. A hard inquiry can affect your credit score and is visible to other creditors. They don't readily tell you this fact but later on you will see the hard inquiry on say your fico or experian / equifax etc.

So, in the case of services like Affirm, if you're initially approved based on a soft inquiry and decide to accept the loan offer, it could then lead to a hard inquiry to finalize the credit agreement. However, policies can vary between financial institutions, so it's essential to read the specific terms and conditions provided by the lender.

Netting 16% on $600-700 purchase compared to cards now offering $200-300 cash reward after spending $500-1000 plus say another 2-3% rewards options beats out the $96 or so on 16% but the final math may be slightly different

the link you pointed to doesn't look like a review, usually with all the testing results, powers, cooling...etc

Well it is a review. It even says so in the link title. Take it up with Tom you don't like it.

Edit: 8 pages of testing benchmarks, did you even click the link
