Can this tablet be unlocked to be used on another network? If it can, $10 more for the 5G version (compared to the wifi version) is not a bad deal.

I have the S9+ version of the US Cellular 'firmware'. There's wasn't any carrier branding and it wasn't sim locked at all - it was the work around to getting a the S9 series with sim on t-mobile.

If you are in the market for a cellular tablet, this seems like a really solid deal.
