I couldn't tell if this movie was written for children, or by children. Either way it was disappointing, on account of me being grown.

I quite enjoyed the movie. It also has an 82% on RT and was a financial success. A sequel is coming soon.

Minority opinion. Well received and well reviewed film by both critics and audiences. Same director as the film Sinister which I really loved. If you're into psychological horror films (not gory slasher flicks) it should be right up your alley.
