For whatever reason, XFX doesn't seem to know how to make a short card. I have 6600xts from them with stupidly large coolers for the small amount of power the card puts out.

Agreed. I've purchased 2 of their cards recently: a 6950XT and a 6700XT, and for the life of me I was unable to fit their 6950XT into a mini ITX case. However, I was able to fit the 6700XT after some maneuvering around and the outcome was a really snug fit. Luckily, I didn't have to perform any modifications to the case.

I went through this at newegg and it adds a $6 finance charge. Not a big deal, and I still give this deal a thumbs up, but I'd suggest editing the price to include this as I can't find a way to avoid it even if I pay in full.

Fair point. I'm getting 4% CB, which will more than offset the charge. Still a good deal, in my book - was waiting for something like this to upgrade from a Vega 64. Will still be about $340 for me, all in after tax, CB and $6 service charge.

This card is super long, but basically a 4070 with more ram and less RT performance. VRAM will be much more of an issue in the future vs maybe some titles that kinda look better in RT, but hit you in the VRAM nuts.

These Newegg deals pushing the installment plans are gross. Clearly they are getting a kickback. I'm not giving my SSN out to buy anything from Newegg.

Everyone has your SSN from the Equifax breach 15 years ago anyway, don't sweat it.

No SSN required.

If you can sell the 2080 for 220-230, I think it would be a worthwhile upgrade for the extra VRAM, but it's not a huge performance jump.
