This seems comparable to the Fire Max 11.
I am not very fond of my 1 year old Lenovo Tab M8 (3rd Gen) 8" Tablet, 32GB Storage, 3GB Memory, Android 11 tablet as it seemed ok at first but now it keeps lagging.
The Max 11 has a larger screen and would cost about the same after trading in my 5 year old Fire 10 tablet.

I bought one of these on sale over a year ago to serve as a low-power test device for app development.
It's definitely not powerful. Its CPU benchmarks similarly to a 2015 iPhone. Expect frame drops and chugging on things like home screen animations. Probably ok to read comics and watch things on, but I would advise tempering expectations.

Did you enable the android buttons? By default they are off and I didn't bother leaning the swipe stuff
Using the same Lenovo M10 for this reply.
Works great, great price..
I love that it has a gps built in, works great, works well even when offline for hiking/camping.
Just download map portion you want beforehand while it's online.

Friendly advice to steer clear of Lenovo android devices. They have a bad reputation of creating compelling devices at great prices and dropping the ball on keeping up with security patches. When they do issue security updates, they don't patch all of the vulnerabilities that have been provided to them by Google.
I have purchased many Lenovo products and don't shun the brand by any means but you will find ample forums both on and off of Lenovo's own website to support this position. The company simply makes a great product and then pushes on to the next product release with very little energy put back in to keeping their previous devices properly updated and protected. Lenovo android devices are simply not a reliable or future proof investment.
I really hope they change how they operate. As of right now, I cannot recommend that anyone buy Lenovo Android devices.

I tried Lenovo M8 for a couple days and it was slow as molasses (not a tablet gamer, regular apps, video classes, Kindle & Google Books etc). Usable but what a pain (for such pedestrian cases). I've returned it and ordered Alldocube iPlay50 Mini Pro NFE (talk about elegant naming). Haven't received it yet but looking forward to it.
<rant>It is really annoying that the only solid 8" tablet option is iPad Mini.

Where and how much did you order your iPlay50? I am looking for an 8" tablet too and don't want Apple products. Thanks.
About to order the iPlay 50 as well. Let us know once you get yours 🤓
Got it yesterday - it's night and day compared to Lenovo!
It is fast (blazing fast, compared to Lenovo) - I am yet to see any meaningful lag.
It apparently has 2 SIM slots and can act as a phone (not that I'm going to use it in that fashion)
Unlike Lenovo, it doesn't have face unlock. Not having any biometric unlock is very annoying in 2024, but I'll likely survive.
Screen resolution is much better than Lenovo.
It comes with screen protective film on, which is handy.
Launcher is just as basic as Lenovo's but in 2024 who cares about launcher as long as you can group your apps and arrange them on screen?!
So overall, it feels like a great tablet for my needs (a compact tablet for reading / video courses / very rare video and social usage). If it had a fingerprint reader it would've been absolutely perfect.
