Others have replied with excellent suggestions for a replacement. I've attached picture of some "knock offs" that I bought when my BC700 gave up the ghost. They look a lot like my BC9009 (sitting to the right) but were much cheaper. If you are used to the LaCrosse, there will be little to no learning curve with these cheaper ones. They've done well for me. If you don't mind a larger form factor that can handle a larger variety of sizes and chemistries, look at the larger one pictured. My only complaint of the larger one it is that I can't get the charge/discharge current as low as with the LaCrosse or the knockoffs. I'm from Texas and I like my chargers capable of cooking low and slow.- just like my BBQ.
Good luck with the new charger - whatever you settle on.

A separate issue is EBL batteries and charges over market, and under perform.. Got a bunch, learned the hard way. Not a disaster, just not the bargain they seem.

It does not have an AC power cord. I'm using an old phone charger to power it. It requires a few more button presses (like the Maha /Powerex MH-C9000) to get to different modes and (dis)charge currents but I've liked it. Like the Maha, it gives you a bit more information as you are charging or refreshing. Amazon shows it no longer available. There was a updated model that I almost bought. While I was thinking about it, it also went unavailable.
Several of the other larger form factor chargers do, however show a good bit of information while they are working - like those pictured. There is a feature on the PSPower charger that I like. It has a USB power OUT port so you can use it as an external power bank. Its a bit clunky to use it that way for travel but can still be a handy feature.
