Been a bit cheaper before but still a very good price.
FYI, it also has a different screen.
16GB soldered kind of kills the deal for me. There's not many gaming situations where you'd need more than 16GB of system RAM, but anyone buying this computer will probably be using it for a few years and I'm sure those situations will popup at some point in the near future. I also personally need more than 16GB for work.

The search for a small, do everything laptop that's also a decent price continues.

Yeah, but with a zip coupon and payment method. At this price I think that nothing comes even close, not even the $1049 oled legion slim 5i.

I returned that legion slim 5 oled like a week ago. Battery life was terrible and honestly the OLED didn't impress me at all after using it for about 3 weeks. I consume just about everything via a 48" OLED.

I can get by with a regular screen on a laptop for my needs and I saw prices dropping so back it went. I'm positive I'll find a better deal soon.

I had a Legion 5 4060 as well and sold it. Compared to my old Legion 7 2060, the battery was subpar. I felt stupid for upgrading an perfectly good laptop.

Interesting. My experience has been the opposite with the Slim 5.

That was a Slim 5, not 5i, i.e. AMD CPU, i.e. better battery for the same performance.

To each their own I suppose. The screen, batt and fan noise didn't wow me at all compared to the things I was reading about it.

Also realized I want different things after using it for that short period of time. Don't need the OLED and would rather go esim vs carry around a mifi device or tether from a phone.

I knew the battery wasn't going to be great considering discrete GPU and OLED but it was pretty bad. Fans were loud as hell too but that's just about every laptop outside of Macs.

It didn't impress me at all (sad), so it went back.
