The 5700X has 2 more cores and 4 more threads and is clocked a tiny bit faster. So you might gain 5fps in a game for around $15 more. On the other hand, the 5600X does come with a cooler, so you save there as well. Might not be bad advice to just go with the 5600X if you are on a budget.

I'm not sure if it's any different. I had been watching this CPU, so kept checking the price. Right now it's showing $164.99 for me.
