Not sure if this is justifiable when I have working first gen. Better noise canceling would be the main thing I'd care about (and if possible better battery). Kinda think I should just wait for mine to die though…

Rumors are 3rd Gen will be coming late 2024 or early 2025, so if you can wait for that it might be worth it. However if your 1st Gen are struggling with battery life this might be worth the upgrade.

My first gen just started buzzing on right earbud but like you said if the AirPod pro 3 come out soon is it worth waiting 😩. They're pretty annoying and can be unbearing at times but I don't want to lose value if these will get even cheaper very soon or new ones release.
