I got several of these and it took 3 reprints to get it right … the machine they use to press the print onto the wood gets dirty and can damage the photo (scratches, indentations, and alignment problems). I kept trying because 1. It was for a gift and 2. One of the original runs came out great so I knew it was possible.

I finally found an employee who knew what she was doing and she new exactly where the problem was in the process. This employee produced a good result as promised. She also gave me a 100% credit for my troubles. … so it is possible to get a good print from these but inspect them carefully before you pay and ask for reprints … if your lucky they will eventually get it right.

Got this before. It was embarrassingly misaligned and looked like a kindergarten art project. Then it delaminated.

I'd say get this for yourself but not as a gift.

Thanks to both of you who commented above! Good feedback. For $6 this seems like a nice gift but it sounds like it might take a few tries to get it right.

Picked up mine 2 hours ago, absolutely perfect. maybe it depends on the workers at the location, whether it comes out bad or not?

These (when done correctly) still look cheap. I had one done a few years ago and also recently.

Yesteryears: premium photo that really looked professional and the wood was roughly 3/4 inch thick with a sturdier plastic tube like stand.

Today's: looks like a pic slapped on some cheap 1/4 inch (if that) piece of the cheapest wood-like material with a pencil thin stand that feels like it would break if not careful. You'd probably have a sturdier stand by hollowing and cutting a pen in half.
