as much as i love the spec, 18 inch, 4080, 32gb ddr5, dell warranty (I prefer dell warranty over HP)

not having QHD or OPTION for QHD should be illegal at this point

If you know of a lightweight laptop with a 4080 and 4K OLED for $2k, please post it.

Yeah, imo anyone who would actually care about having 480hz (only the most competitive of gamers) would likely not be playing on a laptop screen or even a laptop in general. Weird screen choice.

It did. These are closeouts of last years model. The current model can be bought with QHD+.

The GPU cooling is actually really good. The CPU cooling could be a bit better, but it's far from bad. This is mostly due to inconsistent application of their proprietary Liquid Metal.

I think every gaming laptop nowadays will just be similar in quality, and gpu are just going to get more and more powerful hence the heat.

I got a Asus Strix 18 with really similar spec and i really love how I can charge the laptop off a usb c (100 watt) charger when not gaming.

but imo the best overall laptop for spec/build/cost/reliablity will be lenovo
