Other than that, I love the space underneath and feels sturdy.
Precisely correct. Memory foam mattresses need some kind of additional support underneath them beyond the slats. We put a king size nectar mattress on one of these, and it was awful. I almost thought it was our mattress but then I decided to put some thin ply wall underneath it, and it transformed the whole experience.

They used to be shilled ALL the time so that's probably why they have a low rating. In my experience their products are easy to put together, and the bedframes and desks are solid.
why would you put a king size on a twin

Other than that, I love the space underneath and feels sturdy.
Keep an eye on those legs. I had the king as well, and the legs started to bend in the middle and scratched my floors. These products are a you get what you pay for. If this is what you can afford, get it, no judgement. If you have the funds for better quality, you really should.
