Sorry about the negativity, but after losing a good amount of time and money because of these clowns, I have to call this out: Stay away from Chase Travel!

They are a useless intermediary between you and the organizer/airline. Everything takes forever, and they are more of a roadblock than help if anything goes wrong with a booking. Never again!

Same here, called and was told they couldn't find offer. Emailed them and was told to wait 6-8 weeks from end of promo 1/31/24, next week will be 8 weeks still no bonus points

I've had the CSR card for quite a long time and disappointedly only book through them about 33% of the time because the savings through other travel aggregators yielded significantly more savings - even with considering the value of the additional points.

However, there was a time when I booked a non-refunding hotel through them and when an upcoming emergency got in the way, CSR helped get back my refund.

I will continue to cross shop between Chase Travel and other aggregators.

In my opinion chase travel is more expensive then just using Expedia or priceline. Even with the rebate. I just had a trip to bogota and chase travel was more expensive on flight and hotel.

Mostly everything on the Chase UR travel portal will be overpriced compared to traditional booking websites. I recommend comparing prices before booking, the price difference usually makes the 8000 points worthless if example, you have to spend an extra $100+ on the booking with the portal

I booked plane tickets though chase travel for the bonus points which was clearly stated on their website but never got the bonus points. I finally got the points after three months (four calls and multiple hours speaking with them). This is not the kind of experience I was expecting, very disappointed.

You're correct that the prices won't always be the best, howeber, the idea here Is to book a couple cheap car days and a hotel night you would have been needing anyway for like $250 all-in, perhaps overpay by $20, and get 10K UR worth $150 with very little effort. It's definitely not an offerr worth spending an extra $100+ or a lot of time and hassle for.

I have used chase travel and they are fine unless something goes wrong with your trip. Long story short, they left me stranded in Thailand and the airline wouldn't help because I needed to work through my 'travel agency', chase travel. Ended having to buy my own last minute tickets to solve the problem.
