I had it in my cart and the CS74 went out of stock when checking out and ended up buying the PH74 for 799.99. For the price with 3 year warranty I'm not complaining. I picked up the G14 2023 version with 4060 at Best Buy for 999.99 2 weeks ago but ended up returning it for the Legion Slim 14 with 32gb upgrade for 1258.69 with 1 year warranty and it barely came a few days ago. I love the look of the Slim 14 and the OLED is amazing but my wallet feels better and its only 40-50 bux to upgrade the ram down the road.

I did the exact same thing. I have an oled slim coming in, but this is just such a more reasonable deal. I have a 1660ti, but the screens not great. Wanted to upgrade but didn't have to

Alright, I had an order on the way for the acer predator triton 14 with a 4070 for $1199 but after seeing a comparison between the 4070 and the 6800s and they are about 10% difference on average, I canceled the acer(despite the better screen and newer cpu), as I don't think it's worth $500 more. Great deal on both machines, but this G14 is just so much better that makes the acer look like a bad value lol.

No, it doesn't. Many people prefer ~14" for better portability. Thanks for sharing though.
Yeah, that person has tunnel vision...we have various screen sizes for a reason, and plenty of gaming laptops at 15"+. They failed to acknowledge this is the G"14". Asus has a G"15" and I believe M15 line. The number is there for a reason people!

15"+ laptops are horrible for travel, because of their dimensions. If it's a desktop replacement then sure, 16-18" is fine.

Yeah I saw that. I was gonna cancel then reorder but there is no option. When I called she said my issue was escalated since she couldn't adjust the order. It was going to be shipped soon so she couldn't cancel it either. I just tried chat and she was like I just spoke to you a few minutes ago. Hopefully they will be able to adjust my order.

The CS74 is back in stock but its 1099.99 now.

I just did the same and she escalated to cancel. I'd rather have the one without the extra lights on the cover. Did you get an email confirming the cancelation request? I haven't gotten anything.

What's the difference between the CS74 and PH74? The SD link takes you to the PH74

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

Got this laptop in Dec 2022 for $1100, great little unit. If you do get this, G-Helper is an absolute must.

Only two relatively minor issues I've had. First, the keyboard LED lights are not uniform in their brightness. Pretty obvious that a section of the keyboard is too dim compared to other keys which are well back-lit. Second, pushing the GPU on some resource-intensive games caused it to develop coil-whine when under load. Not much of an issue tho because 1: the fans are gonna be blowing hard anyway and they'll drown out the whine and 2. you'll probably be wearing headphones or earbuds which will block out the noise of both.
