Imagine "yogurt" covered cranberries (which almost always contain massive amounts of added sugar themselves) highing high sugar levels per serving. Especially when that serving size is measured POST dehydration.

If sugar is a concern then (most) dried cranberries should not be on your shopping list. Definitely not ones dipped in glorified candy from Ocean Spray.

From Walmart's "Ocean Spray Craisins Original Dried Cranberries, Dried Fruit" listing (no yogurt)

BTW, water is wet and rocks are heavy Wink

Yeah this is ridiculous, I'm not usually one of those "sugar posting guys" because I understand nutrition, but actual dried cranberries with no added sugar just their natural occurring sugar don't taste bad. Trader Joe's has them only 2 grams of sugar. These are worse than candy.

This is why most Americans don't know how to eat healthy.

Lmao 3 tablespoons worth is 50% of you're daily sugar. New Slickdeals rules on food; sugar needs to be posted in title

The issue is not that it is dehydrated cranberries. The issue is that there are 18g of added sugar for 2g of natural sugar (20g total) for each serving. This is something that could have been controlled to help with obesity and diabetics.

Someone failed to read my comment about 'normal' dried cranberries then doubled down on the nonsense...wow.

The label again for your viewing pleasure:

Now, you can get dried cranberries without added sugar. But good luck finding a human that can tolerate them. Even dried blueberries make sour candy look tame without added sugar.

Knowing what products are NOT healthy beforehand helps a lot. FYI candy coated sugared infused fruit is a pretty bad start...
