I'm surprised boneless wings took so long to be invented. Those are the easiest chickens to catch.

I got them a few times, they are not to my liking, definitely not restaurant quality more like frozen food.

"America's Favorite"

I'd be surprised if they're Applebee's favorite boneless wing

Some of the craziest nutrition info I've ever seen. A 10 piece buffalo boneless wing order, which isn't even a meal on its own, will get you 4,250 mg of sodium. That's nearly 2X the suggested daily limit for 10 nuggets, holy f*ck! Hypertension in a box.

They aren't bad, but they aren't better than what you can buy at the grocery store.

They both come from a bag in the freezer.

I worked as a waiter, and in the kitchen, at an Applebees over the course of 2.5 years.

I would never eat there voluntarily.

No it's not. I ate there last month and was impressed about how bad the food was. It's definitely bad like cafeteria hospital food, absolutely terrible.

They don't make them in house. They come in large quantities, frozen, and are thrown in the fryer.

Personally I think Applebees's has some of the best boneless wings/saucy nuggs/ whatever you want to call them.
That's how it's done in most (if not all) restaurants with these (and it's perfectly fine). Expecting them to be prepared from scratch is unrealistic!....and thank you for your (rare here, but more accurate) evaluation!

Seems impossible! but OK, I'll play along. If that were truly the case ("frozen, hard, chicken nuggets with the world's worst sauce")....which are entirely unlike the ones I've had (but my Applebee's is a magical place, I guess), I'd just stop eating them after the first one and return them to the restaurant. Unless you were there (which makes it even easier to get them replaced or refunded). Either way, there are better options than eating them and then just moaning and groaning about it here on SD!
"moaning here on SD"
You're right, we should just do away with reviews entirely and live life on the edge.

Agreed that the sodium is excessive....but let's put things into proper perspective (for the sake of accuracy vs. total condemnation). Firstly, these are intended as a shared appetizer. Therefore, eating 10 may as well be a meal (and then some) ....since contrary to popular belief here, they are definitely not the size of chicken nuggets and eating 10 of these at one sitting is a big portion of food (relatively speaking). The overly salty Buffalo sauce adds 2300 grams of sodium (and that would vary somewhat relative to the volume of sauce used). The 10 boneless wings themselves contain 1760 grams. The honey bbq sauce adds 900 grams (far less than the buffalo sauce). Your overall number is off (as it's actually 4060 grams). There's no need to comment on that, as I already agreed that it's excessive (either way)....but I reiterate, it's normally an appetizer, not a 10 piece meal. This 50 cent pig-out promotion is an exception to the rule (for some, at least). These are not unique with respect to sodium content. Unfortunately, you'd be surprised at how much sodium is in a wide variety of restaurant prepared (and frozen) foods. So unless one dedicates their time to home preparation (from scratch) of basically everything that they consume (just slightly unrealistic), welcome to the wonderful world of sodium overload!

chicken wings have bones; these things do not have bones. when you accept insanity you lose sanity yourself.
