Not new. Prices for 12 packs of pop in my area go for $8 when not on sale. And there's no Big Lots stores anywhere nearby. So for me, this is a great deal. Sorry it's not for you.
No Big Lots near me, but

there was also a $5 of $30 food offer at Target (for me at least)

so I ordered six 12-packs which will cover us for multiple upcoming gatherings

Price came out to ~ $3.50 per 12-pack
$3 per 12 pack? Where do you live? I haven't seen that price anywhere since before Covid! For the last year or so, the best deal I can remember is 3 12 packs for 13.99. This is in Queens, NY.

Thanks! $5 off $30 wasn't on mine, but showed up on my wife's. Probably wouldn't have placed the order without stacking the two offers.

thanks, but my problem is here we only get the $5off >$30 offer
and i don't feel like buying 6x12 packs to get them all cheaper.

update; i tried to order 3x12 plus $9 grocery to get over $30
and it will only let me order 1x12... will try again tomorrow.

Whoa, how's this frontpage ? Between the DG and Family Dollar you can beat these most every week.

For example, currently at Dollar General:

Dr. Pepper/Fanta/Canada Dry etc are 3 for $12

Pepsi products are 3 for $11

FD has coke 3 for $11 last week. They usually cycle back and forth so next week there will definitely be coke products 3 for somewhere between $10-$13.

Id just wait a week to grab them before paying over $14 for 3. If you make it habit of checking their apps you'll never have to pay that much for it. 🤷

even with the 5$ off 30 it's still 4.50$ per 12 pack, which is almost 50% higher then it was in September. Prices have been so bad these last six months Ive switched to store brand cola

in nyc this deal is netting $14.38 before they add $3.58 in deposit, taxes and fees.

it hardly seems worth it... i'll wait for something closer to $13+add from walgreens

One good thing about having acid reflux is I haven't had a Diet Coke since 09/22. Everyone had been telling me for years how unhealthy soda is. With no choice today, they could double or half the price and it makes no difference to me. I used to drink a six pack of 16.9 bottles a day. Not trying to preach but the caffeine, citric acid and carbonation found in most soda are mainly responsible for my getting sick. If I pass this message on to one person, it was worth a 100 thumbs down.

Am I the only old school here ?! I still remember back in the day before covid…. My local supermarket has always been running 4 (12 pack) for $10 deal between the Pepsi and Coca Cola brand. Shake my head

Switched to sodastream because of this…. Cannot take this inflation anymore

This isn't inflation, this is price gouging. Soda used to be max $3/12 pack all day everyday not too long ago. Then they decided to jack up the prices. Have you seen Coca-Cola's profits lately?
Good thing though, I drink a lot less soda than I did previously, which wasn't a lot. But I think very soon, the crazy prices they are trying to charge for soda will reflect in their sales volumes.

this is really not a great deal. Pony up for a Sam's Club or Costco membership and buy 36 packs, in the course of a year the membership fee will more than pay for itself.

I was just at Costco yesterday. In my area it's ~$50 or so a year to walk in the door and the 36 packs of anything are 16.50 or higher.

Also the 15% off grocery that others have mentioned seems to be targeted because we didn't get it. We have $15 off $75.

but this deal will be gone, and the everyday low price for a 36 pack at club warehouse will remain. and instead of chasing around town all year to save 1-2 dollars (and losing every bit of savings due to vehicle/gas expenses), you can just buy at the club and next time you know exactly where you are going for your 36 pack. allows for efficient buying trips really. Then once you realize your yearly club membership is a good deal just for 1 item they sell, then you also find you have access to the other things the store sells as well. And overall your mental health and quality of life will be improved.

Someone nearly every week has pop for cheaper especially for the narrow selection found at Costco or Sam's club.

The time factor is YMMV.
