This makes me think of a game for the OG PlayStation called MTV's music generator. I used to use that as a drum machine and played electric guitar along to it.

I know that several times I've dressed my daughter as various Nintendo characters for Halloween and have constantly been served with cease and desist letters 🤣

This looks pretty neat! I've already used weird devices as part of my recording studio so I don't see why I wouldn't want to tinker with this on a switch! I wonder if I can connect a Midi controller keyboard Wink
I wonder as well. Even Wii had software that worked with midi keyboards, and games that would require you to actually play melodies on a real keyboard.

I've played around with this a decent bit and it's actually a very solid DAW to goof around with and make some sketches

Would my 7 year old be able to use this?
Probably not, unless they're willing to be patient and stick with it

I downloaded it the other day and I have a couple options I can try for Midi keyboards. I'll report back if it seems to take any of those as inputs Smilie

Can't you run it through aux? Not as good sure but maybe for a sample
That's what I was thinking, would probably have to sample the audio output via the headphone out, my receiver line out, or an HDMI extractor.
