It is a rip off and most restaurants upcharge 20%-30% in their menu -- can't blame them. But when you use these discounted gift cards to pay for orders, and if you have Dashpass, you end up paying around $4.5 extra in markup, service fee and tips for an $18 order to have someone driving to the restaurant, potentially waiting 5-10 minutes for the order to be ready, and driving to your home to get it delivered. I can't really complain about that. If I drive to pick it up myself the whole trip could easily take 30-40 minutes. The service is fundamentally paying someone whose time is cheaper than yours to do the same job -- gig work -- and saving a bit of money is always better than nothing.
Probably as good as it gets until we can get 20% offs at year end, if we're lucky.
Definitely
I logged into my Best Buy account so that I could purchase this about an hour ago (showed that I haven't made any purchases at Best Buy since November) and my last purchase shows that it was for three $100 DoorDash gift cards that I paid a total of $240 for back in November, 2023
On that order, I also got an additional 3% cashback by checking out using PayPal (and my PayPal MasterCard to get the 3%)
It would be nice if Best Buy continues that year end trend again this year and does another 20% discount sometime around November (if not earlier)
I used to get working DoorDash coupon codes for my account. As soon as I load a gift card into my account suddenly none of the offers were getting emailed to me and the online codes I'd fine wouldn't work. Select accounts only, meaning accounts that hadn't bought in. Once you buy in they already have your money so no need to give you coupons. The offers at select restaurants seemed to get worse also.

What are you using the cards for? DD seems like such a rip off
A lot of restaurants do not upcharge for pickup. If you have DashPass from a Chase credit card and order pickup with these gift cards, it is essentially saving 15+ percent for regular takeout.
