That was an absolute one off situation. It would be different if you missed a deal multiple retailers offered, but you didn't. It was one retailer and from I saw people have not received a shipment yet.
Yeah not sure, maybe a lot if people got their order in, but shipment is another thing. I would not be surprised if walmart cancels all the order no shipped yet. They have done it in the past.

How does this compare to that HP 990 FX deal that was $212 a few days ago? Assuming the HP drive comes with the firmware update to make the Innogrit controller not randomly fail.
Except for fluke sales, I feel like prices on these are inflated. These should be in the sub $150 range by now, considering how fast technology is progressing on memory modules. It might be actually fixing for a huge price drop soon. Who knows....

Can anyone comment if this works well in a PS5 slim? I was dumb and bought a gen3 on sale, thinking it would work on ps5, but I got an error on the PS5 saying gen4 and above.
