Take note. This plugs is big. If space is tight in your gang box it might not fit. Ask me how I know 🤬

Most Laptops would require more than 25w though, right?
25w would still slow charge a laptop if this supported PD at 20v

Do they have non-tamper versions? Really don't like this style outlet.
It's code required in living spaces pretty much everywhere.

You're not alone. I refuse to put them in my house and hate trying to use the tamper resistant outlets when we stay with friends. They never seem to work without a struggle.

15w on USB-C and 10w on USB-A as far as I can tell. I picked up six of them. It'll be nice to reduce the number of cluttering USB bricks around the house, and there are places where I want two AC devices and one USB but there are only two power plugs.

The only people falling for this "deal" are the ones who have never tried a tamper resistant outlet before.

Lots of whiners about tamper proof outlets.

1. Really? Is it that hard for you? Then perhaps you have bigger problems.
2. They prevent a few child deaths per year, which is nice for most people, but if you have a problem with that...

Yep, I only put these on the end of my run when doing my kitchen and bar area, because there's no room for other wires with this in the box (and a lack of a second set of terminals doesn't help)

They work well though, doesn't seem to charge as fast as proper wall brick on my iPhone but it's much easier to leave a cable nearby than try to track down a brick every time I need to charge while doing dishes or something
Although they take up more space, there are line and load on each hot and neutral terminal, so you can put them in the middle of the run for a daisy chain of outlets.

My problem with these was always that once I plugged something into the outlets I could never quite fit anything in the USB. The Usb-c seems like it would have more space to work with but A was/is always a pain in the butt and mostly sits unused

Why are these so much more expensive than regular outlets without USB ports?
Have you considered if you needed to buy a wall adapter and that cost factors into this?

Bought and couldn't fit into the gang box and have to return. It's way too big.
Also unless you have normal 2-3 prong plugs, it pretty much blocks the USB port making this pretty much useless.

Where I tried to install this have a DC adapter and the DC adapter pretty much blocked the USB port. Didn't realize it after installing and seeing it budging out making me ended up just returning the whole thing.

Probably gonna go with the Anker outlet instead.

There was a deal last week for the lower powered ones of these outlets. This seems to be a good deal. Also, they have the usb-c 2 outlet device on Amazon for $20 currently.
