Why would you get the MSI over the Dell? Is the build quality better or the what?

the AW3225QF is an amaizing monitor. The curve is very subtle compared to other curved monitors, and I've gotten used to curved monitors for gaming. NO KVM switch however and most of these monitors arrive with small smudges and micro scratches from the protective bubble wrap dell decided to use. Alot of manufacturers use a plastic film to protect the monitor with foam or bubble wrap. But dell decided to skip on the protective plastic film. The scratches and smudges are not visible when the monitor is on, but unacceptable for an item that costs over $1000. I just returned mine because of the scratches. And I just received my ROG PG32ucdm, so I'll give this one a go for a little bit.

Yeah, lots of Redditors are reporting micro scratches on their screens. In one poll out of 43 responses only 10 had no scratches. Thankfully mine is one of those without noticable scratches but some are AWFUL.
https://www.reddit.com/r/OLED_Gam...e_for_one/I did have some marks on mine but distilled water and a microfiber cloth removed them all (just fingerprints and some sticker residue I think?

Cheaper, comes with $100 Steam gift card if you write a review (for another week if you can get one), flat instead of curved. But just a heads up, it seems like every new OLED monitor has some sort of deal breaking issue that may or may not be solved in firmware like the MSI doesn't switch color space automatically and the new Asus monitor having brightness issues. And if I'm going to wait to see if they fix the firmware, might as well wait for the ones with DisplayPort 2.1 to come out. It may not be an issue for you, but DSC on DisplayPort 1.4 has some issues like black screen delay when alt-tabbing and you can't use DL-DSR, and I'll sooner buy a new GPU than a new monitor...

Do you also drive a Ford Pinto and live in shack? You seem to not like nice things, and think that cheap things are just as good as expensive things (they're not).

The MSI does 100w power delivery over the USB-C connection.

Looks like they're not getting a 38" anytime soon in this @240hz.

Is that only for select cards? I don't see the offer for my Blue Cash Everyday card

True if you're mainly using this for PC gaming but Dolby Vision for console gaming/content consumption on devices that support it is very nice.

For all the MSI fan boys. Got a MSI MPG from Bestbuy, within 30 days it's showing a dead pixel. Called MSI and they said "our policy said you should have 3 Dead pixel before we take action".
Meanwhile Alienware will take the product back if it comes with shipping scratches.

I pulled the trigger on one of these a few weeks back and I love it aside from one main gotcha. I'm fine living without the QOL like built in KVM in order to get access to Dolby Vision, but you cannot disable DSC on this monitor which means you can't set custom resolutions. If you were hoping to get this medium format 4K monitor and set something like a 3840x1600 21:9 custom resolution, you are unable to do that as far as I'm aware.
