I have this turntable. 100% would buy again. Keep in mind you can use both wired and wireless at the same time, but there is a delay so not useful. One or the other is the way to go!

This is the turntable I have, has a built-in preamp as well. I have had no issues with mine and it sounds great!

Thoughts on this vs AT-LP3BK?
When comparing the Audio-Technica AT-LP3 and the Sony PS-LX310BT turntables, there are several factors to consider:

**Audio-Technica AT-LP3**:
- **Anti-skating**: Helps to prevent the stylus from skating across the record, which can improve audio fidelity.
- **Bluetooth version**: Not specified in the comparison, but the AT-LP3XBT model has Bluetooth 5.2¹.

**Sony PS-LX310BT**:
- **Signal-to-noise ratio**: A higher signal-to-noise ratio of 60 dB compared to 50 dB, which can mean a clearer sound with less background noise.
- **USB output**: Allows for easy connection to a computer for recording or playing digital audio files.
- **Size and weight**: It's 20 mm shorter and 1.5 kg lighter than the AT-LP3XBT model, making it more compact and easier to place.
- **Wow and flutter**: A measure of the turntable's ability to spin at a consistent speed, with a lower wow and flutter percentage indicating a more stable rotation.

Both turntables have their own advantages, and the best choice would depend on your specific needs and preferences, such as the importance of Bluetooth connectivity, the need for a USB output, space considerations, and sound quality priorities¹.

I also have this and I've been very happy with it.

I actually can speak to the vinyl > digital ripping, and it's pretty good. It's super easy to do, too: USB-B (from turntable) to USB-A (to a PC), fire up Audacity, play the record and hit record!

Bought this turntable last year, very sleek. Build quality is good. Modern design, much more pleasant than the audiotechnica models in the same price range. However this sale price is pretty average, it went on sale for this price most of last year and this is not even close to the best sale price.

I'm going to disagree with the previous comment. This is on the low end of turntables but would be more than adequate as a starter table. "Much cheaper" options (like the Crosley suitcase models) aren't going to be a good experience. But…it kind of all depends on how likely she is to stick with it (or how interested you are in inheriting it if she doesn't).
