I bought this for my kid to run a couple bookshelf speakers. I does a good job, but more like 50w

This is a decent 2 channel amp for a good price. I bought this to power a couple of outdoor speakers for my deck and it puts out some really good volume. Though the Bluetooth is ok, it cuts out or pops at times so instead I have a Wiim mini plugged into the RCA ports that I use to stream Amazon music and Spotify over wifi. With the included power supply, the amp only produces about 50 watts per channel, but it is capable of reaching nearly 100 WPC if you purchase a power supply with more amps/volts. Overall this is a great unit that is more than capable of powering bookshelf speakers, or for many other use cases.

This would be great for me except it doesn't have a line-out for the Bluetooth, and I'd like to have multiple amps connected.

Get the pro version then, get 48V power supply to fully utilize its power; much more expensive though. For me, I may consider their P3+V3+48v PS combo, with much better quality components. Budget models don't meet the requirements of my current setup.

Using it to power my q150 on my desk, decent sound. Don't need a lot of power as I am sitting in front of them. But agree it's more like 50w.

I've had a bunch of these tpa3116 amps. They work well for what they are. If you want something better, tpa3225 chip amps are getting cheap and definitely sound better. Aiyima a07 is roughly the same price as this deal now, but no bluetooth (only RCA/3.5mm inputs)

So since you brought it up, if I don't need Bluetooth would the Aiyana a07 produce superior sound at a similar price point?

Definitely. I had a bunch of tpa3116s, they all had an audible hiss even with a good power supply and got pretty harsh at the higher volumes. The a07 hiss is so low that i can only hear it with my head against the speaker and highs are much cleaner. These are both popular amps so you can find plenty of reviews, just bear in mind there is a similarly named unit (bt20a pro) that is totally different from this listing (bt20a "non-pro")
