Note:
-V8, you can purchase a $15 battery adapter to Ryobi Battery and others at Ebay.
-V10, the suction power is significantly stronger, longer battery life and runtime,
but the $50 battery adapter is awkward looking.
V10 has battery adapter? Pls link to one if you know. That would be welcome news to me. Only reason I bought v8 as my 2nd dyson was for adapter use.
This one is from a China seller with multiple battery choices https://www.ebay.com/itm/355579745281?itmmeta=01HT06T00HAJ054Q5EBT1DWBTC&hash=item52ca345401:g:ZRsAA... [ebay.com]
I don't own a V10 yet but I am buying my second Dyson on this deal.

Thanks. Might search on Amazon in case I need to return. Don't have much faith in these listings.

So, I contacted Woot! and Dyson to see what my options are and now I have a choice. Each one offered to give me a prepaid label, and Woot! offered to send me a replacement while Dyson simply said they will repair it and return it to me. No timeframe was given from either company.
What is the smartest choice here?
