Just to note, prices definitely jumped. My V11 open box just arrived Monday after ordering last week for that same 299 price point, but no coupon code used. On the plus side the open box V11 had zero signs of being an open box. Brand new perfect condition, perfect box as well.

Bought the V11 animal and I got to say I am pretty disappointed. Doesn't do a good job picking up pet hair at all and the sucking power is subpar. also finding that it easily clogs. My $80 Eureka Whirlwind has a lot more power and does a much better job.

I have Ridgid tools, can't find a battery adapter for the v8. 😞

Yes, this is 100% true and is advisable to also wait for the battery to cool down to room temperature before use, after charging. If you have a clickable battery Dyson, buy some spares to cycle through to avoid using or charging a warm/hot battery.

My refurb V11 showed up today and looks brand new. I can't find a single wear mark or anything to indicate it had ever been used. Same was true of my refurb V7 years ago.

I received my V10 and am mostly happy with it (though it's clear the thing was used in a dog household, as the air coming through the filter smells like wet dog). However, there's a flange in the bin that's somewhat out of place, and I've been trying to find out whether this is something that needs to be fixed or replaced. Each time I communicate with Dyson, I'm told they will escalate it and I'll hear from someone in 2 days. I never hear anything, so I call back. Most recently I was told that it looks like the item has been registered by two different people. Now they have to investigate why that happened.
Has anyone else had an issue like this?

I received my V10 I purchased from Woot! and I was initially impressed hopefully you knew everything looked, and how everything functioned. However, my unit is having a charging issue where it would seem like the battery is charging but soon afterwards red and blue lights started flashing. I never could get it to charge back up, now it only shows a solid red light or nothing.

So, I contacted Woot! and Dyson to see what my options are and now I have a choice. Each one offered to give me a prepaid label, and Woot! offered to send me a replacement while Dyson simply said they will repair it and return it to me. No timeframe was given from either company.

What is the smartest choice here?
