Try using an alternate linked account via the Prime "Hack". It wasn't working for me as well via my primary account but the second was eligible for the $6.99 price; thanks OP.

It might be worth a look to see if you can score an additional Echo Pop for $7 as well. I plan to pair them to get stereo sound in a storage room that I sometimes frequent; it would be nice to have a streaming stereo system there. Thanks again for the heads-up on the original deal OP; it's appreciated.
