Had issues running the game on Windows 10. It seems the game does not work well with newer system and this is wide known issue. I found some workaround, tried, failed. There was no remedy to this so I ended up purchasing it on PS5. I am just going to play it without worrying about compatibility issue. Please check steam game forum or Reddit for more detail. Hope this helps anyone with impulse buy which I am guilty of.
Played it through a couple years ago (never had played all of them) and enjoyed it immensely. I felt like it held up well visually but you don't pay much attention to that because the story engages you.
The 1st and 2nd installment remakes are amazing quality and absolutely fly on my MacBook Pro M2 Max. Storylines are also amazing and well worth a full on replay for my third time around. The 3rd installment, Bioshock Infinite Mac version is not compatible with the new Macs as it will only work on the older Intel models capable of 32bit on an older OS, but going to try the Windows version using Whisky or the Linux version in a VM.

I'm guilty of not having played Bioshock one yet (or "bioshock remastered" , pretty sure if you buy it nowadays you get the upgrade to remastered for free - I could be wrong? I know it works that way on Steam) ... but Bioshock Infinite was a really "trippy" game, I know people who loved it, myself.. I was too stupid to appreciate it
To clarify a bit further if you can follow along with the storyline (which is amazing but also kind of convoluted and complex at least to simple minds like myself ) your response will be "man this blew my mind ! " .. in my case I literally had to read an article explaining why the game ended the way it did and what just happened in the game that I finished playing
Again results will vary depending on what kind of gamer you are, if you're not stupid like me you'll enjoy the heck out of Bioshock Infinite ..

Wish I could forget this game so that I could replay again.
