Drano is basically dilute Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH).

This is even cheaper: 2lb for $16. Equivalent to 2.5 gallons Drano (that's 10 bottles of Drano).
1- boiling water

2- baking soda followed with vinegar

3- plunger

4- clean the p trap

5- snake

Oddly enough I just had a nasty clog and none of those worked. I used the suction on my shop vac and attached it to the end of the breather pipe. It was a bunch of egg shells that were completely blocking the pipe. I used to throw egg shells into the garbage disposal. Not doing that again.
this sums up the entire internet. A comment that is so wrong, yet everybody will believe just because it sounds good because they are too lazy to even check for themselves

The 80oz is still cheaper per ounce even without the 20% coupon

This always works for me: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PKNBK24 unless you've got something nasty like potato peels blocking your drain, in which case you need to break out the snake.

Works well on clogs from hair etc. where hot water isn't working or the plunger isn't helpful either. Your best bet is to follow the instructions and wait.

For sink or tub these are slender enough to get through without having to take things apart and can pull the junk out. Just gently slide in out and it will surprise you how effective it is. For deeper clogs break out the snake...I don't bother with these liquid drain cleaners.

No, because it doesn't have the extra 20% off

No it's not. Do the math and stop being lazy. It's about the same price per ounce, negligibly better but basically the same price. It's usually more economical to have a smaller bottle. You shouldn't be using more. If you are, you need a plumber

(I'll do the math for you. It's about 9 cents an ounce for both)

My plumber told me to use this exact product to try to clear the drain on a tub I've never used, because he'd have to charge too much to fix it.
