This article compares the ROG to a Steam Deck. It's a different model, but the Z1 does get mentioned in a couple paragraphs near the end, and it's not favorable.

I have both steamdeck and Zi Extreme. I used my steamdeck a lot before I got the Ally but now I rarely use the steamdeck. I think the Ally is better all around maybe with the exception of battery life.
